Sign in with Apple
Apple sign-in is the fastest way onto UmbrellaShare — no password to remember, and you can keep your email address private. Here's exactly what happens.
Creating your account

Open the sign-in page
Go to the sign-in page and tap Sign in with Apple — the black button with the Apple logo.

Authenticate with Apple
Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password. Nothing is shared with us until you approve this screen.

Choose what to share
Apple asks for your name (editable — it becomes your display name) and your email. You can pick Share My Email or Hide My Email.

You're in
Your account is created instantly with a $5 welcome balance, and you land on the pod map ready to borrow an umbrella.
Share vs Hide My Email
Share My Email
We see your real Apple ID address. Simplest option, and it links up cleanly if you ever also sign in with email and password.
Hide My Email
Apple gives us a private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com. Everything works the same and Apple forwards our receipts and rain alerts to you.
Signing in later
Tap Sign in with Apple again and authenticate. Apple won't ask for your name or email a second time — it only shares those on your very first authorization. Your wallet balance and rental history load exactly as you left them. If your display name looks blank, set it on the Profile screen.
Managing or revoking access
On your Apple device go to Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → UmbrellaShare. Revoking access doesn't delete your account or wallet balance, but if Apple is your only sign-in method you'll be locked out — talk to us first so we can add another way in.

“Email already registered with a different method”
You already have an account with that address created another way. Sign in with the original method, or contact us and we'll link the two.
The Apple sheet closes immediately
A popup blocker usually causes this. Allow popups for umbrella.365kloud.com and try again.
I used Hide My Email and now have two accounts
A relay address is a separate identity from your real one, so it creates its own account. Contact us and we'll merge them.
Apple sign-in fails for everyone
That's on our side — the Apple credential is renewed every six months. Let us know and we'll refresh it.
